The reference books
Illustrated Norwegian Shipslist (Vol. 1, 2 & 3)
are probably the most used guides to the Norwegian Merchant- and Fishing fleet.
The directories contain an
alphabetical list of owners with addresses, phone- and fax numbers
and a list of their vessels. The main section of the books presents the vessels
in alphabetical order,
with basic information like:

Dimensions
Main engine
Cargo capacities
Former names
communication numbers (Satcom/Mobile phones etc),
Callsign, IMO-number, Port of Registry.
